This prestigious school located in Dudley are looking for an English Graduate to support Class Teachers in their English Department. The role will be focussing on supporting students as they prepare for GCSE's and ensuring that they attain minimum standards in end of year exams. The role will involve working on a 1-2-1 basis and with small groups who require extra support to attain accepted levels. The role is full time, 5 days a week and is due to start as soon as possible, continuing through to the end of the school year July 2014.

The school's last Ofsted report graded them as Outstanding and highlighted the overall effectiveness of the school. Exam results are excellent, with the school coming in the top 20 in the LEA and they regularly record some of the Highest Value Added scores of any school in the LEA. The Head Teacher has a clear vision and ambition for the school to keep developing and establishing itself as a centre of excellence. The school plays an important role in community cohesion at all levels, and possesses a multi-cultural diversity throughout.

This role is ideal for recent graduates who having completed a Degree based around English are looking to gain experience in schools prior to starting a PGCE or TeachFirst course 2014/15.
