This client school has offered a varied and rewarding support to a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supplied through Edustaff, who has received excellent support through this Academic Year. The reward for this graduates commitment has been to gain access to a Schools Direct Teacher Training programme starting in September 2013.

The school is eager to cultivate it's own teachers and they are now looking for Secondary Teaching Assistants who have the potential of becoming star teachers in the near future.

You must be a graduate, preferably of a core subject and from a Russell Group University, who can demonstrate a passion for building a career in the education sector.

The role will be to support literacy throughout the school and aid the advancement of pupils in all ability groups and age ranges. You will eventually receive the training and confidence to deliver and plan your own intervention and study groups. You could be working with high achieving pupils who need preparation and planning skills to revise for exams… or low ability pupils whose basic literacy skills need to improve. In this endeavour you will learn a key teaching skill, differentiation, and you will recognise and build your teaching tools that will hopefully help you advance onto teacher training.

The school is eager to find the right calibre of candidate as soon as possible. If you feel that you can meet the above demands and you can commit to a client school for the entire academic year then please email your CV to Phil at Edustaff NOW!!!

You should never need to provide bank account details or any other financial information, or make any form of payment, when applying for a job. If you are ever asked to do this by a recruiter on our site please email jobs.help@guardian.co.uk
